Carmelite Digital Library Requirements

The Carmelite Digital Library runs on Microsoft Windows and macOS. The operating system requirements are:

Microsoft Windows:

• Windows 2000
• Windows Server 2003
• Windows Server 2008 R2
• Windows XP
• Windows Vista
• Windows 7
• Windows 8
• Windows 10
• Windows 11

macOS:

macOS X: Intel-based machine running Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5.x) or later with a 64-bit CPU.

Special Notes:

1. Most macOS machines manufactured since 2008 have 64-bit CPUs. To tell if your Intel-based Mac has a 32-bit or 64-bit processor see the article, "How to tell if your Intel-based Mac has a 32-bit or 64-bit processor" at the Apple support website: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT3696.
2. The CDL has NOT been tested on the new machines with the new Mac M1 chip.
